I want to add embellishments of black american style to the soft, classical illustrative look— to me that could mean modern handwriting, sparkles & glow. Make it feel like a feat of DIY creativity, the knock-off tour merch being sold outside the arena was so good that Shaboozey had to hire that person or the airbrush caricature artist in Venice Beach who didn’t know they just drew the biggest artist on Billboard’s album cover.

Your last album alludes to something very intriguing to me—where are you going?

You met the audience where they’re more comfortable, reaching the top of popular charts with genre bending sounds and now you have the opportunity to contextualize who you are, tell your story a level or two deeper and frame a new narrative how you choose.

one of my favorite songs because you are seamlessly shifting gears from rapping to crooning but the juxtaposition amplifies the story perfectly.
